A nightmare appointment for a closer?..ANY opportunity to close is an excellent one if you really are a closer…We call your description of a good appointment “Cherry pickin” it has been my experience that people with your attitude couldn’t close the sale if the customer had a blank check already written out you when you rang the door bell…It is the sole responsibility of the rep to create a selling opportunity.Canvassing is designed to get an open door not the customers wallet

Upload date taken into account , but this all seems very out of date to me. Most callers dont even introduce themselves or say hello anymore, they immediately ask a question and launch into their pitch. That way, the customers forced to interact before they can even shut the door.

Tony people dont want you knocking on their doors… You should consider Radio Advertising, It’s the best way to be itrusive(Disturbing another by one’s uninvited or unwelcome presence.) without actually being intrusive.

Make sure you have a canvassing permit in some areas they will give you a ticket and maybe even arrest you for trespassing. Canvassing is the last resort to build a business and is so old school. If you don’t find a different way to sale, you will lose good sales people all the time!! You may even go out of business! Tell me what you sell and I’ll help you. I’m a Top International Sales Pro!
