Selling tips to sell my own home in Coral Spring Florida
Well it is now official down here in Florida we have almost the worst housing of anywhere in the nation, wow. As an investor it is rare to talk to someone who actually has some equity in their home, unless of course they have no mortgage at all & yes that is the case for many people. They however, don’t get any press coverage at all. All they do is sit their quietly and sip their tea and nibble on their crumpets and maybe do a little gardening.
Have you noticed that it’s a crazy market and all the pundits are talking about short sales and bank REOs and for many home owners, actuall the vast majority of homeowners, they are not behind on payments and in fact 1/3 or Americans don’t even have a mortgage on their home. Good for them. We also know that most Realtors are ?>#@() idiots on their best day(sorry, just my experience)
We are going to discuss what needs to be fixed on your home to sell it & what doesn’t need fixing. We are going to talk about after you find a buyer how to you get the sale closed, we will discuss how to find a good mortgage broker and why you really need one. We are gonna talk about getting your home ready for showing and when to show it. We will discuss the “Corner to Corner” top secret technique to improve the looks of your home incredibily.
The truth is I do actually know a couple of very good Realtors, but the odds against finding one are astronomical. As a result many homeowners are resorting to selling their own home and who can blame them. The 6 or 7 percent commission turns out to be a bunch of money, and that money, if not paid to a Realtor can be used to give to the new buyer or spent to fix up your home prior to selling or any number of other ways. In these series of videos I am going to share my 15 years of experience is selling homes without the use of Realtors.
I have been successfully buying and selling homes without Realtors and love to share my knowledge with homeowners to give them some options. Heck, if none of them work, you can still call a Realtor or ask the person in front of your or behind you at the grocery store to list your home, chances are at least one of them or maybe both will have their real estate license. In the tips we are going to discuss how to do your own open houses, how to get people to your open houses and what info to give them and get from them.
We will talk about should you offer any type of owner financing on your sale and when it may very well be a smart and secure decision. I could go on and on but you’ll see for yourself that the mystery of selling one’s own home, really isn’t that hard. One last thing I will share with you how you can get your home listed in MLS yourself for next to nothing so that your to can use the power of MLS, just like a Realtor would.
